Seems it never stops..
Tom Fargo, who's commanding the American presence in the Far East, and who at the moment has some 35 thousand troops on South Korea, was asked for re-inforcements, another aircraft carrier and more men. The concern is that North Korea's going to take American preoccupation with Iraq, and start a wander down south.
Considering the noise coming these days from Pyongyang, it's not an unreasonable assumption on Fargo's part..
One wonders, how many in the past have sat, digesting the bits and pieces of information that filter down or fall through the cracks, and felt themselves to be on the brink of something momentous, something 'big'. The advantage we have over Heroditus is the speed with which the information comes our way. The disadvantage is the size of our respective worlds, and the volume of information.
One would almost need a computer..
